Being conscious that the amount of single use plastic bottles which generate local and tourist people in a normal day, but mainly during summer, our local pilot project aims to develop a network of street water fountains along the city (the main focus in tourist areas) together with the distribution of water bottles (in hotels, shops, restaurants, etc).

The local demonstrator aims to combine Renewable Energy Sources and mobility. It consists of infrastructure for both e-cars and e-bicycles/e-scooters.

Taking advantage of the already existing 3 cultural routes in the city, we will install bicycle stations in key city locations where, organised tourist groups will depart every 1-2 hours, with the help of a local bicycle tourist guide.

The local demonstrator to be applied in Himara Municipality consist of an installation of a light infrastructutre to detect the bycicle lanes that will be highlighted starting from Himara Promenade continuing throuth the ring road of the city of Himara and ending in Potami area.

The local demonstrator for Gozo pilot area will consist in the construction of an underground water reservoir in the village of Kercem. The water reservoir will gather rainwater runoff, whereby this water will be used for landscaping an adjacent public garden.

Rethymno Municipality as a tourist destination is interested in further promoting recycling and enhancing this mentality. Therefore, Rethymno is keen to place waste bins along the municipal beaches and replace the existing on the coastal front.

Consultancy service for the dissemination of cycling tourism as a tool for promoting circular tourism and engaging tourists on the issues of circularity for the tourist area of the Mantuan Oltrepò. The long term of the action is to contribute to the construction of the identity and image of the territory as circular and sustainable, making the territory attractive, favoring its strategic positioning as a circular tourism destination and developing a real "product club" of cycling tourism in the territory itself.

The planned activity within the territory of the GAL is to host an opening event, along with a static 1 week outdoor exhibition of information panels promoting the project & results of the circular tourism strategy, in Italian, to tourists.
